I hope i am writing this in the right spot as i think every lesbian should know how FANTASTIC the women's space at the Mardi Gra party was this year! I have been to most of the 'big' parties since 1996.... this year they got it right. For the first time it wasn't just a 'sit down with your beer pick up spot'. There was always something happening. I saw some of the BEST sideshow performances i have ever seen in the 'girl's republic' My faves were the clowns and the hoopers, the dog food was a bit much but hey... each to their own. Also the all girl Dj line up was stellar! I hope the space is going to be as good if not better next year. Well done! X Marta
